BigBag-lifting beams from LOADLIMIT® online configuration
BigBag lifting beams from LOADLIMIT are available in different gripping widths, with a load capacity of 1,000 or 2,000 kg, in standard or reduced overall height and in painted, galvanized or stainless steel versions. Possible equipment includes rigid or extendable load arms and different crane suspensions. Configure and order the lifting beam completely according to your requirements.
Varnished, galvanized or stainless steel
Usually the lifting beam is made of steel, with a robust 2-component varnish. Alternatively, a galvanized version and a stainless steel version are available.
Crane suspension
The crane suspension is mounted at the top center, optionally made as crane eye, rings (for single or double hooks) or shackles (single or double) on a perforated strip.
Weld-on hook
Our trusses are equipped with weld-on hooks with safety latch (stainless steel version with safety shape-hooks).
Low profile design
To reduce the space required between the crane and the load, we offer the lifting beam optionally with weld-on hooks offset upwards.
Load arms with telescope
The lifting beams are optionally available with extendable load arms. The adjustment is fitted in a grid of 3 x 50 mm (small version) or 4 x 50 mm (large version).
Safety
Made in Germany - LOADLIMIT® lifting beams offer quality and safety and comply with current standards. The load beams have a high-quality finish and are painted with a robust 2-component varnish (RAL 1023 traffic yellow).
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery includes operating instructions, safety instructions, CE declaration of conformity and test protocols in digital version, as well as a printed quick reference guide. Our lifting beams are usually delivered by freight forwarding company.

BigBag-lifting beam for the crane
The LOADLIMIT big bag lifting beam is suitable for crane operation. Compared to the operation with industrial trucks, the lifting and transporting of big bags by crane is very effective and safe and enables the feeding of production plants that are not accessible by forklift truck, for example. A crane attachment point in the center of the top of the cross beam is used to attach the crane.
Operation of the BigBag-lifting beam
For big bag lifting beams with telescopic arms, the unloaded arms are first adjusted to the required gripping width. To pick up the big bags, the loops of the big bag are hooked into the 4 hooks. Unintentional unhooking is reliably prevented by the weld-on hooks with safety latch. The crossbeam must be unloaded for unhooking.
