Longhook lifting beams from LOADLIMIT^® - online configuration

Long hook lifting beams are used to lift rollers, spindles and other rotationally symmetrical loads. These parts are easily gripped and moved off with high shape and transport stability.

Our long hook lifting beams are available by standard in gripping widths from 1 to 8 m, with load capacities from 1,000 to 30,000 kg and with a variety of features. The long hooks are manufactured to your specifications. Configure and order the lifting beam according to your requirements, with the appropriate crane and load suspension points.

Wide range of equipment

Choose from a wide and practically proven range. You can customize the crane suspension, add a chain sling, select rigid or adjustable long hooks, and optionally add a forklift mount as well as extension parts. Order the matching parking solution ( foldable feet or parking trestles) for your lifting beam.

Crane suspension

The crane suspension is usually top centered, optionally by crane eye, rings (for single or double hook), shackles (single or double) on a perforated rail or bolts (movable or rigid).

Chain suspension

Alternatively or in addition to the center crane mount, the lifting beam bar can be supplied with a matching 2-strand chain sling with shortening hooks.

Long hook

The lifting beam is available with fixed gripping width (fixed mounted long hooks) or variable gripping width (long hooks with adjustment grid). We manufacture long hooks according to your specifications (hook length and inner diameter of the hook). The long hooks have a mechanical safety device that prevents the hook from slipping out unintentionally when picking up or setting down the load.

Both the fixed long hooks, as well as the adjustable long hooks can be replaced when needed very easily, so you can react flexibly with this lifting beam.

Unique extensions

LOADLIMIT® lifting beams have a patented extension system - the "point" at the end of the lifting beams. Here, up to three additional crane or load attachment points can be mounted simultaneously. An exchange of these parts is possible at any time. You can also retrofit your lifting beam.

Crane suspension

To extend the spreader beam for multi-crane operation, the following extension parts are available: rigid crane eye, suspension ring and bolt suspension.

Load attachment

For extension with additional attachment points for the load or to mount guiding ropes, we offer the following components: weld-on hooks lengthwise, weld-on hooks sideways, shackles on perforated plate.

Transport & Storage

Parking stands

As the most simple option, we supply rigid feet that are mounted as a extension part to the end of the lifting beam.

The removable telescope feet allow height adjustment and are available as substructure or extension part.

Our parking tresstles (with or without rollers) are not connected to the beam and remain on the ground.

Parking trestles with shelf (with or without rollers) allow space-saving storage of belts or extension parts. The shelf is mounted between the trestles and thus increases the stability.

Forklift mounts

As required the lifting beam can be equipped with forklift mounts in one of 3 sizes (max. fork tine profile 150 x 80 mm, 210 x 120 mm, 300 x 200 mm).The mounts have a horizontal locking device for the fork tines and a chain to secure the lifting beam to the fork.
