Lifting beam TBX
The lifting beam, also known as a crane beam or load beam, is used when lifting and moving bulky loads by crane and enables better weight distribution and less deflection of the load.
Crane lifting beams are used in various areas of logistics and intralogistics, e.g. for transporting prefabricated concrete parts, machines, beams, profiles, logs, pipes and for loading large loads onto ships, trains or trucks.
The lifting beam has a central suspension ring for attachment to the crane. The safety swivel hooks on the beam spreader with variable reach are attached to adjustment brackets, allowing the working width to be adjusted quickly and easily. The adjustability enables a much broader range of applications compared to a rigid load spreader beam, as diagonal pull at attachment points is usually restricted.

Made in Germany - LOADLIMIT® lifting beams offer quality and safety and comply with current standards. The load beams have a high-quality finish and are painted with a robust 2-component varnish (RAL 1023 traffic yellow).
Slings & chains
Additional lifting gear such as ropes, chains, straps or lifting slings are usually used to attach the load. You can also find a selection of suitable slings in our store.
Operation of the lifting beam
The lifting beam is first attached to the crane with the upper crane suspension. Then the lifting beam is moved over the load and the load is fixed to the load attachment points with suitable slings. Diagonal pull on the load hooks is only permitted to a limited extent. Depending on the design, some very large loads are lifted with the beam lifting beam. Therefore, it is essential to observe the operating instructions. Both the crane and the other lifting gear must guarantee the necessary load-bearing capacity!
