Pull cylinders can generate very high pulling forces and can be controlled with millimeter precision by hand or motor pumps. When at rest, the piston rods are extended; if pressure is applied, the forged drawbar eyes contract. A built-in compression spring allows the piston rods to return to the rest position when the pressure is released.

Areas of application: shipbuilding, heavy tank construction, steel construction and bridge building, civil engineering as well as general repair, positioning and assembly work where the highest tensile forces are required.
