Information
Lifting beam for pallet cages
The standard lattice boxes according to DIN 15155/8 - UIC 435-3, which are mainly moved by forklift trucks, are so stable that they can be picked up by the hooks of the lattice box lifting beam on the upper frame and lifted and transported by the crane. The pallet cage lifting beam is designed for single transport of pallet cages and has two rigid and two swiveling hooks connected with a handle bar.
Pallet cage lifting beam for crane
The pallet cage lifting beam allows to integrate the crane into the operational transport of semi-finished and finished small parts. This also means that goods receipt and goods dispatch in cage pallets are no longer dependent on ground conveyors.
Operation of the pallet cage lifting beam
The lifting beam is moved over the mesh box and first hooked into the frame of the mesh box with the two rigid hooks. Then the movable hooks are hooked in by the handle bar. In this way, the pallet cage beam can be fixed and released quickly and safely by only one person. For releasing, first the movable hooks are folded out and then the traverse is unhooked. The lifting beam must not be released under load.
