Spreader lifting beam from LOADLIMIT® - online configuration
Spreader beams are used to keep chains or belts at a defined distance when lifting loads. LOADLIMIT supplies spreader beams with fixed or adjustable spreader widths from 0.9 to 5 m and load capacities from 1,000 to 15,000 kg, with or without chains and hooks. Configure and order a spreader beam according to your requirements.
Fixed or adjustable spreading width
If for your application a a fixed spreading width is sufficient, we recommend the more cost-effective rigid spreader beam. The adjustable spreader beam offers more flexibility. The adjustment is made in a grid of 100 mm, secured by a plug-in bolt.
Crane suspension
We supply a fitting 2-strand chain sling for crane-side attachment. However, the spreader beam is also available without chain slings.
Load attachment
Optional load chains in various lengths with eye hooks or short-mounted swivel hooks can be ordered with the spreader lifting beam.
Parking feet
Our parking tresstles (with or without rollers) are not connected to the beam and remain on the ground.
Parking trestles with shelf (with or without rollers) allow space-saving storage of belts or extension parts. The shelf is mounted between the trestles and thus increases the stability.
Information
Safety
Made in Germany - LOADLIMIT® lifting beams offer quality and safety and comply with current standards. The load beams have a high-quality finish and are painted with a robust 2-component varnish (RAL 1023 traffic yellow).
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery includes operating instructions, safety instructions, CE declaration of conformity and test protocols in digital version, as well as a printed quick reference guide. Our lifting beams are usually delivered by freight forwarding company.
Approval drawing / CAD data
After ordering, you will receive 2D release drawings as PDF, for checking and confirming the order. We do not publish 2D/3D CAD models of lifting beams in general.
Spreader lifting beam for the crane
The crane suspension is made by a 2-strand chain sling at the ends of the crosshead.The load attachment on the spreader beam is realized with chains or additional chain slings.
On the adjustable spreader beam, the gripping width can be changed in a grid of 100 mm.
Operation of the spreader lifting beam
The gripping width of the spreader beam must be matched to the load. Therefore, the required grab width is first set on the load-free spreader beam and locked with the socket pin.
.Then the spreader beam is attached to the crane with the chain sling. Finally, the load is fixed to the spreader beam with suitable slings and the load is lifted.
