Crane suspension center

The crane suspension is usually top centered, optionally by crane eye, rings (for single or double hook), shackles (single or double) on a perforated rail or bolts (movable or rigid).

Load balancing

To balance the center of the load, the crane suspension is adjustable. The adjustment is realized by an electric motor, safely and conveniently by radio remote control.

Especially for use in two-crane operation, the turning device also has permanently installed crane hook eyes at both ends.

Any angle up to 360°

The turning spreader beam enables high turning speeds and any turning angle up to 360 degrees. The turning process is quick and safe without damaging the load.

Load belts

For a gentle and at the same time flexible slinging of the loads, endless load belts are used in the length you choose. The belts are easily removable, for looping around the load or for replacement.

Load chains

If required, the turning traverse can also be equipped with calibrated load chains (as endless chains or chains with eye hooks). The chains are fed safely and with low wear using pocket wheels.

Remote control

Operation is done conveniently and safely by radio remote control. This allows the crane suspension to be moved for load balancing and the load to be rotated in either direction by any angle.

Forklift mounts

The lifting beam can be equipped with forklift mounts (size 150 x 80 mm, 210 x 120 mm or 300 x 200 mm) with locking device for forklift tines and safety chain.

Parking feet

The side plates of the device also serve as storage feet on level ground. Therefore, no further racks or bearing blocks are necessary.

Safety

Made in Germany - LOADLIMIT® lifting beams offer quality and safety and comply with current standards. The load beams have a high-quality finish and are painted with a robust 2-component varnish (RAL 1023 traffic yellow).

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes operating instructions, safety instructions, CE declaration of conformity and test protocols in digital version, as well as a printed quick reference guide. Our lifting beams are usually delivered by freight forwarding company.

Approval drawing / CAD data

After ordering, you will receive 2D release drawings as PDF, for checking and confirming the order. We do not publish 2D/3D CAD models of lifting beams in general.

Turning device for crane

Due to its size and application, the LOADLIMIT turning device is designed for crane operation. The turning beam has a total of three crane eyes for crane pick-up. Two eyes are rigidly located at the ends of the spreader beam and thus also enable operation with two cranes. The third eyelet, in the middle of the spreader beam, can be adjusted horizontally with the remote control for load balancing.

Operation of the turning device

First, the lifting beam is positioned with the crane above the load and the mounts for the lifting straps are adjusted to the required distance by remote control.

Then the belts are placed at suitable locations using edge protectors. After slinging, the load can be lifted with the turning device until there is sufficient ground clearance for turning.

The operator activates the electric motors of the turning device via the remote control and thus turns the load by the desired angle. The load can then be moved further with the crane or set down again directly.
